Anaemate Release Notes – 17 August 2026

This release includes new features, workflow enhancements and reliability improvements across the Dashboard and mobile app.

Doctors can now use the Pending Review filter in the mobile app’s Follow Up tab to find encounters that are still awaiting handover. Results include encounters with either a Pending Review or Doctor Edit handover status, making outstanding reviews easier to identify and action.

The Patient Encounters and Patients screens on the Dashboard now display records from newest to oldest, making the most recent information easier to find.

When an encounter is set to Outside Hospital with Private Health Fund selected, a confirmation warning now appears before saving on both the Dashboard and mobile app.

Users can return to the encounter and add a hospital or continue with the insurance type changed to Self-Insured.

Event Category labels in the Calendar now use black text for improved readability, while the assigned category colour remains visible as a visual indicator.

Doctors can now generate, download and print a PDF copy of a completed Pre-Op Questionnaire from both the Dashboard and mobile app. The PDF includes all questionnaire questions and recorded answers.

Questionnaire responses remain read-only for doctors, while existing Practice Admin editing permissions remain unchanged.

The Available EFTs table has been updated to make it easier to find the correct EFT when manually reconciling an ERA. The EFT search field is now blank by default, and only relevant EFT records are displayed to help narrow down the available matches.

Third-party encounters now default payment liability to Health Fund, with health fund payments also supported for third-party quotes.

Times and item numbers can now be edited immediately after cancelling a handover in the mobile app, without leaving the Submit Bill screen.

Opening an Event file in the mobile app now displays the file associated with the selected Event, even when another Event contains a file with the same name.

The selected Surgeon/Referrer text now displays correctly after saving on the Patient Encounter page, without overlapping other content.

Admins can now remove Time Items that have been added to quotes and invoices on the Dashboard.

Deactivated question types are no longer included in custom Pre-Op Questionnaires sent to patients.

For post-pay encounters, the Estimate of Fees PDF now displays the amount payable once and aligns the Consent Due Date correctly.

Calendar Events set to repeat daily now finish on the selected end date.

Adding a Free Text item and fee now applies the appropriate Billing Rule, allowing the invoice to be created successfully.

Claims now remain on hold until automatic fee recalculation is complete and the claiming hold has been lifted.
